Mr. Rahul Gautam, is the Managing Director of Sheela Foam Ltd., India and he is also the Chairman of Joyce Foam Pty Ltd. in Australia & Interplasp, in Spain. He has been associated with Sheela Foam since 1971.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Technology (Chemical Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a Master's Degree in science (Chemical Engineering) from the Polytechnic Institute of New York, USA

He has over 40 years of experience in the home comfort products and PU foam industry. He is also the Chairman Emeritus of the Indian Polyurethane Association. Under his dynamic leadership, the first Polyurethane Summit 'PUTECH-2005' was successfully held in October 2005 and subsequently in 2008 & 2011 in India.

He enjoys out-door sports, reading books on Management & Philosophy, listening to Indian Classical Instrumental music and supporting educational activities.

Business and Social Activities:

Founder of the Indian Polyurethane Association and currently its Chairman Emeritus.

Founder Member of Global PU Group

Awarded Distinguished Alumnus of IITK, Kanpur.

The CSR Activities include: Sleepwell Foundation, Adoption of All Women's ITI in Delhi and Establishment of a Chair at HT, Kanpur.
