An avid entrepreneur, seasoned politician, renowned social worker & philanthropist, Mrs. Sheela Gautam, had a multi-faceted personality. Born in a family of freedom fighters and diplomats in 1931, she completed her graduation with an additional degree in education. She founded Sheela Foam in 1971 and had been actively involved in growing the organization for two decades before moving into active politics.

A prominent figure in the Indian Politics, she was elected as the Member of Parliament from BJP (Lok Sabha), for four consecutive terms. She has also been a member of several Consultative Committees formed by the Government of India like Health & Family Welfare, Railways, Public Undertakings, Communications, Petroleum & Natural Gas, Empowerment of Women to name a few.

She dedicated her entire life in serving the Nation, leaving behind a formidable legacy in the world of business and politics.

She was an incredible lady, a charismatic leader with a compelling vision who touched many lives with her magnanimous nature and charming personality.
